6) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
Christmas at the Griswold house is a big affair. But when family shows up, things don’t go exactly as planned. Yule crack up while watching “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” starring Chevy Chase.
7) The Santa Claus
Catastrophy strikes when Scott Calvin accidently makes Santa fall of the roof on Christmas Eve. Now it’s up to him to save Christmas. That means having to take on the role of the man in red.
8) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
While this isn’t a traditional Christmas movie, it still has a lot of Christmas spirit. “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” takes us through the joy of what it’s like to receive when Harry gets his very first Christmas present. Hogwarts during the holidays is enought to give you all the Christmas feels.
9) How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Who doesn’t love a story of a grumpy hermit having a change of heart and learning to love? Everyone! That’s why “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a holiday classic. I prefer the 1966 version, but you can also check out Jim Carrey in the 2000 live-action film, or 2018’s “The Grinch.”
10) It’s a Wonderful Life
“It’s a Wonderful Life” was listed as one of the 100 best American films that were ever made by the American Film Institute. The 1946 drama tells the story of an angel that helps to show a man who has lost hope that life is worth living. It’s a beautiful reminder that our existence makes a difference in the world and to the people around us.
